- here’s a picture from the Q&A after yesterday’s screening of “MWM” at newfest (photo c/o newfest 2010’s flickr). that’s me, left of the speaker. it was a really successful screening with a great turnout. our program, “exploring pleasures,” is really strong and has some great films in it too.
- we have one more screening at newfest this week: FRIDAY JUNE 11TH (3:00PM). again: at the sva theatre, 333 w. 23rd street. tickets are $14 and available online with newfest (here) through thursday. tickets should be available in-person at the box office as well. rsvp on facebook (here). hope to see you there!
- our website (www.mwm-project.com) re-launches today! as MWM moves into 2010 and the festival circuit begins, we decided to try something new. huge thanks to john holdun (johnholdun) for being our fantastic web designer/master for the last year. additional thanks are in order for our new web designer, hana tanimura (mindfield), who truly outdid herself. thanks guys! check out the site (here).

- the film is nearing the end of post-production. we’ve stayed on track since august and have a really strong fine cut on our hands. still a lot more work to get done before we can confidently say, “finished.”
- MWM is the recipient of the thomas william gidro-frank film production award for 2009-10 at new york university’s maurice kanbar institute of film & television. a big thanks to the tisch school of the arts for the recognition and vote of confidence.

- the blog is going on hiatus just for the next few weeks while I travel in brazil. however, things are coming along nicely with the MWM team. we’re right in the thick of post-production and the film is shaping up well. check back in early august and hopefully we’ll have more news to share.
