- here’s a picture from the Q&A after yesterday’s screening of “MWM” at newfest (photo c/o newfest 2010’s flickr). that’s me, left of the speaker. it was a really successful screening with a great turnout. our program, “exploring pleasures,” is really strong and has some great films in it too.
- we have one more screening at newfest this week: FRIDAY JUNE 11TH (3:00PM). again: at the sva theatre, 333 w. 23rd street. tickets are $14 and available online with newfest (here) through thursday. tickets should be available in-person at the box office as well. rsvp on facebook (here). hope to see you there!

- MWM is back in NYC. this time we’re proud to be a part of newfest - the new york LGBT film festival (here). we’re screening twice: SUNDAY JUNE 6TH (12:30PM) and FRIDAY JUNE 11TH (3:00PM). both screenings take place at the sva theatre, 333 w. 23rd street. tickets are $14 and available online with newfest (here) starting monday may 24th at 2PM. buy tickets early and check out the rest of the newfest film guide (here). new yorkers, take note: this may be your last chance to see MWM in theaters, so don’t miss it!

“MWM” has been selected to join the selection at newfest 2010: the 22nd new york LGBT film festival, june 3 - 13 at the sva theatre, 333 w. 23rd street. the MWM team is thrilled to be a part of this festival and can’t wait to screen again for the hometown crowd here in new york. mark your calendars! we’ll keep you posted on screening dates as they are announced.

- the premiere screening of MWM at the first run film festival (firstrunfestival): friday april 9th, 9:30PM at the cantor film center - 36 east 8th street. admission is $5; students with ID, $3. free for TSOA film & tv students. no tickets will be sold in advance–– only available 20 minutes before showtime at the door. we suggest you line up at 9PM to guarantee entrance. there are three other films in our program, so it’ll be a packed house. get there early! rsvp on facebook (here).

MWM was selected to premiere in-competition at new york university’s very own first run film festival. the MWM team is thrilled to begin its festival tour at home in new york. screening information is as follows:

- the blog is going on hiatus just for the next few weeks while I travel in brazil. however, things are coming along nicely with the MWM team. we’re right in the thick of post-production and the film is shaping up well. check back in early august and hopefully we’ll have more news to share.
